Hi, everyone! my name is Kim and I will be taking you on this new exciting journey to learn about death rituals and the beliefs behind them. I am a licensed funeral director and embalmer and I have a BA in religious studies from CSU, Sacramento. This podcast will be an academic exploration through time and culture to learn more about death.

I hope that by learning more about rituals, we can collectively become more comfortable about death and become more proactive about death planning and death discussion.
